NSWCCL Secretary Lesley Lynch joins an expert panel discussion about data retention and mass surveillance hosted by EFA's 'Citizens, Not Suspects' campaign.

Leading technology journalist Stilgherrian will moderate the discussion, panel members include:

• Narelle Clark – Internet Society of Australia
• David Vaile – University of NSW
• Lesley Lynch – NSW Council for Civil Liberties

The panel will examine the justifications for, and the arguments against mandatory data retention and the potential effects of mass surveillance on civil liberties.
