2023 NSWCCL 60th Annual General Meeting

The 60th Annual General Meeting of the New South Wales Council for Civil Liberties (NSWCCL) will be held both face to face and electronically at 6pm on Wednesday 25th October 2023, in accordance with Article 29(1) of the Constitution and as approved by the Committee.

The venue for the AGM will be at Teachers Federation House and the meeting will also be broadcast online via Zoom video conferencing. Please register below.

Join us to catch up on the activities of NSWCCL over the last year, participate in the election of the NSWCCL Executive and Committee for 2023-24 and vote on strategic civil liberties policy positions.

AGM Business

  1. Confirm the minutes of the 2021 AGM. 
  2. Receive the Executive’s reports on the year’s activities and financial position.  
  3. Appoint Auditor for the ensuing financial year.
  4. Financial members will discuss and decide on a number of proposed NSWCCL policies 
  5. Financial members will elect the new Committee and Executive members to run NSWCCL for 2023/24.

Nomination for Committee and Executive positions
Nomination forms for Committee or Executive positions can be found on the NSWCCL website by clicking HERE. Nominees for Committee or Executive positions must have been financial members of NSWCCL for at least 3 months prior to the AGM. Please note that it is important for you to provide information in relation to your interests and skills/experiences on the nomination form before asking your nominees to sign it. Nominations must be returned to the Secretary by 5pm 17 October 2023.
