Gun Court for NSW?

The NSW Attorney-General has announced a Review to Consider the Merits of Establishing a Gun Court in NSW. Written submissions to the review are invited from the public.

UNSWCCL made a submission to the Review recommending that NSW does not need a Gun Court. You can read UNSWCCL's submission.

What YOU can do

The NSW Attorney-General has called for submissions on this issue. The deadline is 19 December 2003.

If you want to have your say, then you should write to the inquiry. Your submission need be no more than a few lines explaining why you think such a court is a good or bad thing.

You should also talk to your local member of state parliament to register your opinions.
