I must remonstrate against two points in your article "Nazi-style drug laws may be open to abuse" (SMH March 29).

First, there is an inference that we have a wave of 'neo- nazi' drug-policy activity. Could I suggest it is in fact 'neo-liberal' value for money, political activity.

Second Sydney barrister Mr Stephen Odgers infers the new policy came from' left field'.

Could I suggest that in fact this new drug-policy came from the "right field".

Perhaps ABC management are now advising government on social issues!
