The Right to Silence

censorship subcommittee

The Censorship subcommittee is concerned with classification issues and restrictions on free speech. Current issues include the Federal government's plans for an internet filter and associated changes to the classification system, the absence of an adult classification for computer games, and restrictions on discussion of certain topics such as assisted suicide using the internet and telecommunications.

If you are a CCL member and would like to be involved in this process of policy formulation, please contact the CCL office and ask to be put in contact with the subcommittee convenor.
